WHAT THEIR TEACHERS ARE SAYING:

Emily Gilligan:

... is an outstanding student for many reasons.  Not only does she strive to achieve high scores on every assignment, but she tries her best to learn the material in the process.  She is not just grade-driven.  This makes Emily extremely well-rounded, personable and ambitious.  She is not shy to ask for help and often asks great questions that make connections within the lesson that other students may not have considered.  I feel she is a great role model...and I have been very proud of her accomplishments.

...is a very hardworking and conscientious student. She is always willing to participate in class and help those who are in need of assistance. Her ability to recall mathematics from previous years has put her above her classmates in critically thinking in Math Analysis.  She has been a pleasure to have in class this year.

Simply put ... Emily is AWESOME in the classroom.
She's extremely dedicated and works hard, asks great questions, and has a true interest in actually learning (not just wanting to get a good grade).  She's the type of student who makes teaching the rewarding profession it should be

Ian Kruithof:

...is not only a smart young man but he is also a gentleman. He has a quiet demeanor, but when given a task he takes on leadership qualities.  He is the perfect choice for Student Athlete of the Month.  He encompasses all the qualities that students and athletes should have.

...is a valuable member of my Spanish III Honors class.  He has mastered complex grammar structures with ease.  He has consistently maintained an A+ average and was inducted as a member of our World Language Honor Society.  He comes to class well-prepared everyday and is focused on the task at hand.

...is a dependable hardworking student. He is admired by his peers and pursues excellence on all of his assignments. Ian asks thought-provoking questions, participates in class, and is consistently willing to help his classmates. He is respectful and humble and a pleasure to teach.
